14-oz pkg. vanilla caramels, unwrapped
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 pkg. German Chocolate Cake Mix
1 c. nuts, chopped
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 T. evaporated milk
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In medium saucepan over low heat, combine caramels and 1/3 c. evaporated milk, stirring constantly until caramels are melted. In large bowl, combine cake mix, nuts, butter and 2 T. evaporated milk. Mix well. Press half of dough into bottom of ungreased 13x9" pan; reserve remaining dough for topping.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over partially baked crust. Carefully spread carmel mixture over chocolate chips. Crumble reserved dough over caramel mixture. Return to oven and bake 15 to 18 minutes or until filling is set. Cool completely; cut into squares. 36 bars.
