2 1/4 c. hot water 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. long grain rice
In a deep 2-quart casserole with lid, combine hot water, butter or margarine and salt. Cover. Microwave at 100% (HIGH) 4 to 5 minutes or until boiling. Stir in rice. Cover. Microwave at 30% (Medium low) 20 minutes or until tender. Stir after 10 minutes. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork.
