10-12 new red potatoes
1 pkg frozen petite peas
1 cube margarine
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 quart of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and scrub potatoes. If they are not new, peel their skins off. Cover with water and 1/2 tsp. salt. Boil until tender but do not overcook. Drain water off. Melt margarine in separate pan, add flour, salt, and pepper. When mixture is very hot, slowly pour in the milk stirring constantly with a fork. If too thick, add more milk and then pour over potatoes. Bring to a slow boil and add frozen peas. Serve as soon as peas are cooked.
