2 c. sugar
2 c. raisins
1 c. shortening
3 c. water
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/4 tsp. salt
4 c. flour
2 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, raisins, shortening and water for 5 minutes. Pour in bowl and beat in cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cocoa. When cool, add flour and soda. Pour into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour
