1 small pkg, cherry jello
1 1/2 cups boiling water
2/3 can "whole" cranberry sauce
2 cups peeled diced apple

Directions:
Directions:
Make jello as usual using 1 1/2 cups of boiling water. Stir thoroughly to dissolve. Break up cranberry sauce with a fork and add to hot jello. Stir until melted. Refrigerate until the consistency of egg white and then add apple folding in well. Pour into mold or 8x8 inch square pan. Refrigerate until set.

This was my mother's recipe and we always serve this salad on Christmas Eve. I now put this in a fancy dish to save time unmolding. This recipe doubles easily.
