2 c. heavy whipping cream
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. whole milk
6 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
6 oz (4 c.) day old French Bread, cut into 3/4 in. cubes
1/4 c. semisweet chocolate chips
Cool Whip or whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 300.
In a sauce pan, combine cream, sugar, and milk over medium heat until the sugar dissolves - stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Stir with a wire whisk until the mixture is smooth and chocolate is melted completely. Whisk in eggs and vanilla until well combined. Place the bread in a shallow quart or 8 X 8 glass or ceramic baking dish. Pour chocolate mixture over the bread, cover and refrigerate 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the bread. Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes until well set. Serve with whipped cream.
