1 qt home canned apricots, drained
1 scant c. apricot liquid
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. vegtable oil
2 eggs
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. pecans or walnuts

Directions:
Drain apricots and reserve liquid. Throughouly hand mix apricots, apricot liquid, sugar and vegtable oil. Beat eggs seperately, adding one at a time. Sift the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Gradually add to apricot mixture. Blend in raisins and nuts. Pour into two greased 4 1/2 X 8 1/2 loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 50 - 60 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted comes out clean.
