Cookie Filling:

1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. heavy whipping cream

Cookie:

3/4 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder

Directions:

Cookie:
Cream butter and brown sugar, blend in egg and vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder, then mix into butter sugar mixture. Mix well. Shape dough into 1 1/4 " balls; place 2" apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Make indentation in each cookie with thumb; rotate thumb to hollow out slightly.


Filling: Combine all filling ingredients in a small bowl; mix well with spoon. fill each cookie with one rounded teaspoon of filling.Bake at 350 for 8 to 12 minutes.
