1 c. milk or buttermilk 1 c. whole wheat kernals 2 eggs 2 Tbsp. oil 1/2 c. milk or buttermilk 1/2 tsp. salt 1 heaping Tbsp. brown sugar 1 Tbsp.+ 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda
In a blender combine 1 cup milk or buttermilk and wheat and blend for 3-4 minutes. Add eggs, oil, 1/2 c.milk or buttermilk, salt and brown sugar and blend for 3-4 minutes longer. Add baking powder and soda and blend for about 5-10 seconds longer.
If wanting to use powdered milk: Combine 1 c. water and 1/2 c. powdered milk and blend on low until smooth, then add wheat. Also change by using 1/3 c. water instead of milk or buttermilk in the second step
