3lbs. boneless beef ,round steak,cut into serving-sizes
2tbsp. vegetable oil
2 medium carrots, cut into 1/2 inch slices
2 celery ribs, cut into 1/2 inch slices
1-3/4 c water
1 can (11 oz.) condensed tomato rice soup, undiluted
1 an (10-1/2) condensed French onion soup
1/2 tsp pepper
1bay leaf

Directions:
Directions:
In large skillet, brown beef in oil over medium-high
heat; drain. Transfer to a 5qt slow cooker. Add carrots and celery. Combine the remaining ingredients; pour over meat and vegtables. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.
Discard the bay leaf before serving. Thicken cooking juices if desired.
