2 lbs. ground beef

1 large onion (chopped)

1 large can whole tomatoes

1 small can tomato sauce

1 package (12) corn tortillas

2 lbs. grated cheese

3 Tablespoons chili powder (or to taste)

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown onion and ground beef in large skillet. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasons.

Let simmer. Tear tortillas into 6 to 8 pieces. Layer tortilla pieces, meat mixture, and cheese in greased 9x12 baking dish. Repeat ending with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees. 40 to 45 minutes
