1 (10 oz.) can - condensed golden mushroom soup
tsp. - salt
1/8 tsp. - pepper
1 lbs. - ground beef
1 - onion, finely chopped
cup - dry bread OR cracker crumbs
1 - egg, slightly beaten
1/3 c. - water

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. In medium bowl, combine of soup with remaining ingredients except water; mix well. Shape into 6 patties; arrange in single layer in a 9 x 13 or an 8 x 12 baking dish. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Skim off fat. In small bowl, combine remaining soup and water; spoon over patties. Return to oven and bake for 10 minutes. If desired, garnish with mushroom slices. Makes 6 servings.
