1/4 c. cornstarch + 1 Tablespoon 1/2 c. sugar Dash of salt 1/3 c. cocoa 1/4 c. hot water 2 c. milk 2 T. butter 1 T. vanilla 3 egg yolks, beaten
Mix sugar, salt and cornstarch. Add milk and heat in double boiler until thickened. Add cocoa paste of cocoa and water. Add egg yolks slowly and cook 5 minutes more. Remove from heat; add vanilla and butter. Pour into cooled pie shell. Top with whipped cream.
