3 cups sugar 1 large can evaporated milk 1 cup chopped pecans 1 teas. vanilla 1 T. butter
Place sugar in large saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir constantly until it forms small pea-size balls. Add milk all at once and continue stirring. Reduce heat to medium-low. Continue cooking to soft-ball stage. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, butter and pecans. Drop by teaspoonful onto wax paper. Let cool.
