6 large green peppers
3 cups boiling salted water (1 tsp. salt)
2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce
1 lb. ground beef
2 cups ritz crackers (broken up)
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion


Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees (mod.). Cut a thin slice from the stem end of each pepper. Wash outside and inside. Remove all seeds and membrane. Cook peppers in boiling salted water 5 min. Drain.
Mix rest of ingredients. Stuff peppers lightly with meat mixture. Stand upright in casserole dish.
Bake covered 45 min., uncover and bake 15 min. longer.
