1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
3 c. sifted flour
3/4 t. baking powder
3/4 t. salt
1 t. baking soda
3/4 c. margarine, softened
2 1/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped nuts

Measure all ingredients into bowl. Beat 3 min. at medium speed. Pour into greased and floured pans and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 min. (Makes 2 loaves). If using smaller loaf pans or muffins, adjust baking time. (Makes 3 mid size loaf pans.) Do not fill pans more than 2/3 full. If you have more batter make a few muffins.
