Directions:
I use a 15x12-pan 3 1/2 inch pan. Brown the hamb with the onion, salt and pepper, and mushrooms. then add the pasta sauce and cont to cook until all heated through. Now start to put it all together by layering sauce, noodles, more sauce, cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, noodles, sauce, until you reach the top of the baking dish. Bake at 350 until cooked through and bubbling. I add a little more mozzarella cheese just before serving but with enough time to melt. I bake it slowly, probably for 2 hrs. However do not over bake.
