1 (9 inch) graham cracker pie shell
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 quart strawberries
1 cup water
1 1/2 Tbls cornstarch
1/2 to 3/4 cup sugar
1 cup heavy cream

Directions:
Directions:
Add powdered sugar to 3 cups strawberries. Let stand 1 hour. Crush remaining cup of strawberries and cook in water for about 2 minutes. Strain. Mix cornstarch and sugar and stir into strained berries, cooking until clear. Stir constantly. Fill pie shell with berries/powdered sugar mixture and pour the sauce over them. Chill. Serve with whipped cream.
