4 pound pork shoulder roast
1 1/2 tsp Five Spice powder
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 to 2 Tbls sesame seeds
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup apple juice
1/2 dry white wine
3 Tbls soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Rub the roast with the Five Spice powder. In a 4 quart dutch oven, brown meat in 2 Tbls hot oil. Add chopped onion, sesame seeds, and garlic. Cook 2 to 3 minutes stirring constantly. Add the apple juice, wine and soy sauce. Cover and bake at 325 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Remove meat to a platter. Skim fat from pan juices. Measure 1 1/2 cups pan juices and return to dutch oven. Combine with 2 Tbls cold water and 4 tsp cornstarch and mix until bubbly. Spoon over meat. Serve with rice.
