German Apple Cake Recipe

2 large or 3 small eggs, beat until foamy
1 cup salad oil (crisco oil)
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
4 cups thinly sliced and peeled cooking apples
1/2 to 1 cup walnuts

1 or 2 pkg cream cheese
3 Tbsp melted butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar till consistency

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease Pan
Mix all ingredients for cake.
Bake for 1 hour

For the icing:
Mix all ingredients, frost cake when cooled.
