1 quart homogonized milk 1 cup sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla 1/3 cup cornstarch
1) In a large saucepan, bring milk to boil. 2) Add sugar & vanilla. 3) Mix cornstarch with a little cold water to dissolve, add to milk mixture. 4) Reduce heat and continue stirring until mixture thickens. 5) Serve hot over apple dumplings.
