Ingredients:  
1 c. raisins boiled in 2 c. water–Boil until there is 3/4 c. liquid.

1 c. sugar (1/2 brown sugar, 1/2 white sugar)
½ c. shortening
½ c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
2 c. flour ( test cookie, may need more flour to make a drop cookie)

Directions:
Directions:
In a sauce pan cook raisins and set aside to cool. Cream sugars, shortening, butter and eggs. Add dry ingredients and mix throughly. Add raisins and 3/4 cup liquid.
Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet .
Bake @ 375º for 10 - 12 minutes
