1 large can sliced pears or apples (not apple pie filling)
1 tbl sugar
2 tbl cornstarch
1 tbl lemon or lime juice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg

1 1/3 C Bisquick
1/3 C Sugar
6 oz Shredded sharp Cheddar
1/3 C melted butter
1/4 C milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425. Spray 9 in. square pan with cooking oil. Drain pears, reserving liquid. Combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and nutmet in a saucepan. Add syrup and lemon or lime juice. Heat until syrup thickens. Stir for one minute. Remove from heat and add pears. Pour pears into baking pan. Combine Bisquick, cheese, butter and milk. Mix until blended. Drop by spoonfuls onto pears. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes
