2 c. sugar
2 c. buttermilk
1/2 stick butter (melted)
4 eggs
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
flour to handle (9 to 10 cups)

Roll fairly thick. Turn when still a little light.

heat oil 350 - 375

Fry in oil and turn them while still a little light in color.

These instructions are pretty brief - but we all remember the doughnuts!
