2 (15 oz) cans pinto beans
1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 lb breakfast sausage
2 cups chopped yellow onions
2 tblsp beef bouillon granules OR
2 cubes beef bouillon
15 oz tomato sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon ground oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the ground beef, sausage and onions together in a 6 quart saucepan.
Drain any fat.
Add the pinto beans (undrained); add the tomato sauce and add enough water to rinse the can.
Add the beef bouillon granules. If using the beef cubes, dissolve them in 1/4 cup hot water then add them to the pan.
Add the remaining ingredients; blend thoroughly.
Bring it to a boil; reduce the heat and simmer for 25 minutes.
Serve.
