2 T. sugar
2 tsp. melted butter
1 egg
1/2 c. dark molasses
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in a little hot water
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
Sauce:
1 c. powdered sugar
2 egg yolks
1 c. whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together and add very slowly a 1/2 c. boiling water. Steam 3/4 hour.
Sauce: Beat eggs and sugar together. Whip cream and add a little at a time to mixture. Flavor.

This pudding is good after being steamed a second time. It was Grandpa Art Marshall's favorite! Mom (Sharon) gave me a fancy steamed pudding mold that I can use to make this pudding. Jennie
