1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 eggs
2 c. brown sugar
1 c. hot coffee
3 c. flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
1 c. nut meats

Directions:
Directions:
Beat together first eight ingredients, then add raisins and nuts to combine. Pour into greased 15 x 13 pan or two 9 x 13 pans. Bake at 350 F for 30-40-minutes. Frost when cool with powdered sugar frosting.

When I was growing up my mom, Nora McFarland, would make these bars to take along when we went visiting. I can remember eating them countless times and everybody liked them.
