8 slices of bread, buttered and cubed
1 pound shredded cheddar cheese
8 eggs
3 cups milk
3/4 tsp salt
3/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp pepper
2 to 3 green onions, chopped
fresh mushrooms, sliced
sausage, ham, or bacon

Directions:

Layer a 9x13 pan with bread cubes, cheese, onions, mushrooms, and meat. Beat eggs, then add milk and spices. Pour over all. Refrigerate over night. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour or until browned and bubbly.
