1 package dry yeast
water
2 cups flour
1 Tbls sugar
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve package of yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Stir in 2 cups warm water, 2 cups flour, 1 Tbls sugar, and 1 tsp salt. Beat until smooth. Let stand uncovered at room temperature 3 to 5 days.
Stir 2 to 3 times per day. Cover at night.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to make bread or pancakes.
To keep starter going, add 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup water, and 1 tsp sugar to left over starter. Let stand until bubbly (at least one day). Store in refrigerator. If not used within 10 days, add 1 tsp sugar.
