1 chicken, 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. cut into serving pieces,
seasoned flour,
vegetable oil,
1/2 c. finely chopped onion,
1/2 c. finely chopped celery,
1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper,
2 T. butter or margarine,
2 T. white vinegar,
2 T. brown sugar,
1/4 c. lemon juice,
1 c. catsup,
3 T. worcestershire sauce,
1-1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard,
1 tsp. salt,
1 c. water,

Please note: This is an easy recipe to increase for more servings.

Coat chicken with seasoned flour. Brown in small amount of fat. Remove chicken pieces to shallow baking dish or casserole. Saute onion, celery and green pepper in butter. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer approx. 20 minutes. Pour sauce over chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for l hour or until chicken is tender
