6 slices bacon
1 1/2 T. firmly packed brown sugar
2 quarts melon wedges
1/4 c. lime juice
1/3 c. finely slivered fresh basil leaves and sprigs

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 10" x 15" baking pan with foil. Arrange bacon in single layer; bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Spoon off drippings. Evenly pat sugar onto bacon. Bake until deep golden (about 10 min.) Lift bacon to a board. let cool slightly, then cut into 1/2 inch diagonal slices.
In a shallow bowl, combine melon,lime juice, and slivered basil. Top with bacon; garnish with basil sprigs.
