1 box spice cake mix
1 pint home canned figs, drained and mashed coarsely
1 C chopped pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake according to directions, saving 1/3 cup water to
mix with figs. Fold into cake batter and bake as directed on
box. It will require about 5 to 10 minutes longer baking time.
