water/ to completely cover eggs
1 tbsp coarse salt

Sit eggs out of refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to take some of the chill off. Put eggs in appropriate size pan depending on number of eggs. Add enough water to completely cover eggs, sprinkle in salt. Bring to boil over high heat. As soon as the water starts boiling, cover the pan with a tight fitting lid, remove from heat and let sit with lid on until they reach room temperature, about 20 minutes. Eggs will be completely done without over cooking. It is easier to remove the shell also.
