l loaf French bread
1/2 cup melted butter
4 garlic cloves, finely minced or use a garlic press, if available.
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp Italian herbs


Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Slice loaf of bread into 8 pieces.
Place bread slices on cookie sheet and lightly brown on one side, remove from oven.
Stir minced garlic into butter. Brush untoasted side of bread slices with mixture. Combine Italian herbs with Parmesan, sprinkle over buttered bread. Return to oven and toast until golden brown.

The secret to this recipe is freshly minced garlic. The stuff in a jar or garlic powder does not do it justice. This is my own recipe, we love it!
