Ingredients:  
1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups potato chips, crushed
1 cup nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars; add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Add flour, salt and soda and stir until well mixed. Add chips and nuts. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
