pecan halves ( Enough to form 2 dozen clusters)
1 bag of caramels
1 T. butter or margarine
1 8 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Form about 2 dozen clusters of pecan halves on a buttered baking sheet using 4 large or 5 small halves per cluster. Melt a bag of caramels in the top of a double boiler adding 1 tablespoon butter or margarine. Spoon about a teaspoon of the hot caramel over each cluster of pecans. When cool enough to handle, shape caramel around pecans. Melt a 12 ounce package of semi-sweet chocolate pieces in top of double boiler. Spread over pecan clusters. Allow to cool. Makes about 24, depending on size of clusters.
