1 cup margarine or butter
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 cups flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can cherry pie filling (or another flavor)
powdered sugar for icing

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine (or butter) and sugar. Add eggs. Beat. Blend in well vanilla, baking powder and flour. Put 2/3 of batter into a 10 by 15 inch pan. Spread pie filling over this. Add remaining dough, drop by teaspoonfuls. Do not spread. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes. Drizzle with mixture of powdered sugar and water while warm.
