1- 8 oz. pkg. macaroni ( 2 cups dry)
1 green pepper, diced
1 small minced onion
1 rib celery, sliced
3 sweet pickles, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
dash pepper
For dressing:
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 T. prepared mustard
1 T. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni just until done, do not let it get too soft. Drain and cool. Add chopped vegetables and toss with a dressing made with chilled whipped evaporated milk (whip milk until it holds its shape), mustard and sugar. Chill before serving.

This recipe was given to me by my husband's mother, Mildred Klingele. Sometimes when I am in a hurry, I substitute Miracle Whip for the whipped milk. It is Bob's favorite macaroni salad.
