4 large tomatoes, skinned and chopped
24 cherry tomatoes, halved
1 large onion, chopped
3 large cloves garlic, minced
4 to 5 green hot peppers (3 inches long) seeded and minced
1 large green sweet pepper, chopped
1/3 cup each sugar and vinegar
2 tsp. salt.

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to boil slowly, simmer 5 minutes. Drain excess juice off with a strainer. Cool vegetable salsa mix. Serve as desired--it's great with corn chips.

The leftover juice makes a good spicy tomato cocktail.
