3/4 c butter
1 c sugar
1 t vanilla
1 egg
2 c + 1 T flour
1/4 t. salt
1 1/3 c coconut
1/2 c nuts - chopped
1 12-13oz Jar of Jam [apricot, raspberry, or blackberry]

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter add sugar; add vanilla and egg. Mix well. Mix the remaining ingredients except jam together with a wooden spoon. Add to the creamed butter and mix well. Press 1/2 of the mixture into a greased 8" square pan. Spread jam on top and then crumble remaining mixture over the jam. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Do not overbake - top should not be completely browned. Cut when cooled.
