1 stick butter or margerine
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 green apples - peeled, cored, and diced
1 1/3 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash salt`

Directions:
Directions:
Bring butter to room temperature, then cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat well. Add dry ingredients (sifted) slowly and fold in apples by hand. Bake in greased and floured 8x8 or 9x9 pan in 350 degree oven for 45 min. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
