1 lb spicy Italian sausage
1/2 lb smoked bacon (chopped)
1 qt water
29 oz chicken broth
2 large russet potatoes (cubed)
2 garlic cloves (crushed)
1 medium onion (chopped)
2 c kale (chopped)
1 c heavy whipping cream
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage and bacon then set aside. Place water, broth, potatoes, garlic, and onion in pot and let simmer over medium heat until potatoes are tender. Add sausage and bacon and simmer for 10 minutes. Add kale and cream, season with salt and pepper. Heat through.
