1 1/2 cups Log Cabin syrup
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
1 unbaked deep dish 9" pie shell

I have tried other brands of syrup but Log Cabin works best(I got the recipe off their label years ago)
Follow these steps exactly when putting together ingredients. I would suggest putting a cookie sheet under the pie pan.

Add syrup to eggs, blend lightly; stir in sugar, salt and pecans.
Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.
