1 TBSP BUTTER
2 TBSP BROWN SUGAR
2 TSP CINNAMON
2 GRANNIE SMITH APPLES, PEELED AND THINLY SLICED
1/4 CUP BUTTER
1/2 CUP SUGAR
1 LARGE EGG
1 CUP CAKE FLOUR
1/2 TSP SALT
1/2 TSP BAKING SODA
1/2 CUP VANILLA YOGURT

Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Melt the 1 Tbsp butter, cover bottom of 9" cake pan with melted butter. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle evenly across bottom of pan. Layer apple slices over sugar mix. Mix 1/2 cup butter with 1/2 cup sugar until well blended, add the egg and mix. Combine flour,salt and baking soda and sift about half into egg mixture, add 1/2 yougurt and blend. Add remaining dry ingredients and yogurt, mix well. Pour over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven and invert on serving plate. Serve with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream!
