"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
3 c. cooked white rice 1/2 cup raisins 1 tsp vanilla 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condense milk 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk 1 Tbsp sugar 1 tsp ground cinnamon
spray the inside of 2-3 1/2 qt. crockpot with cooking spray.Set aside the sugar and cinnamon. Mix the other ingredients in crockpot. Cover and cook on the low setting for 3 to 4 hours or until the liquid is absorbed. You can also add other dried fruits such as dates, apricots, etc. in place of or in addition to the raisins. I like to add a small package of the mixed dried fruits.
This is a rice pudding to-die-for! It takes a little time but is well worth it!
