3/4 c shortening
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1/2 t lemon or 1 t vanilla flavoring
2 1/2 c flour
1 t. baking powder
1 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first four ingredients well. Sift together all dry ingredients. Blend together dry and creamed ingredients. Chill overnight. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 for 6-8 minutes.
