2 tsp garlic-pepper seasoning
2 tsp dried basil leaves, crushed
2 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed
1 tsp dried parsley leaves, crushed
3-4 lb. top or bottom round roast

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325. Combine rub ingredients in small bowl; press evenly on all surfaces of beef roast. Place roast on rack in shallow roasting pan. Insert meat thermometer in thickest part of beef. Do not add water or cover. Roast 325 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours for med-rare. (3-4 pound roast). Remove when thermometer registers 135 for med rare. Transfer to carving board and tent loosely with alum foil. Let stand 15-20 minutes.
