2-3 lbs. chicken breasts 1 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 egg 4-6 tbsp. cornstarch 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 c. chicken broth 3 1/2 Tbsp. ketchup 1 Tbsp. soy sauce sesame seeds
Sprinkle chicken with garlic salt and pepper. Dip chicken in beaten egg and then in corn starch. Brown on stove in hot oil (not too long, until a little crusty and crispy). Place chicken in a 9X13 baking dish. Mix sugar, vinegar, chicken broth ketchup and soy sauce in a bowl and pour over chicken. Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 325º. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top of chicken.
