3 pounds cut-up chicken or large rack of ribs
1 c. catsup
1/2 c. molasses
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. dijon mustard (or less)
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. garlic sauce
1 tsp. hickory flavor liquid smoke
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 or 3 drops hot sauce

For chicken: place in microwave-safe dish covered with wax paper and microwave on high for 9 minutes. Allow to sit for 5 minutes. For ribs: simmer 30 minutes in water to cover. Pour off water to remove fat and keep ribs warm while preparing sauce. Sauce: Mix all ingredients in bowl. Place chicken parts or ribs on rack above pan of water in oven. Brush liberally with sauce and bake at 400 degrees for 20 or 25 minutes, basting frequently with sauce. Check for doneness with fork. When done, serve with cole slaw and potato salad
