Personal Notes:
Blanche James was Grandma Dodie's sister and lived in Frackville, PA I rewrote this recipe from sparse notes found among Blanche Warner's papers. I baked this cake in Aug. 2006. It's light and fluffy and would work well for a strawberry shortcake.
